Description

We are currently looking for a Marketing & Business Development Assistant to join our thriving Marketing team. This is a key position and is based at our London office.

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in events and marketing.

 

The purpose of this role is to provide varied Marketing and Business Development support to the 5 teams within Menzies Specialist Advisory.

 

This role is extremely varied and would be ideal for someone who wants to launch their marketing career

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Specialist Advisory marketing team on all areas of the marketing mix including:
    • Events – webinars & F2F
    • E-shots
    • Design
    • Campaign management
    • Content development
    • Podcasts
  • Managing all admin elements of communications (events & external communications) through platforms such as HubSpot, Eventbrite and SurveyMonkey.
    Data management & reporting – primarily via HubSpot
  • Research & competitor analysis – including SEO projects
  • Assisting with branding of internal comms documentation and presentations
  • Support with design work including whitepapers, adverts, leaflets, iconography and banners.
  • Assisting with content creation, repurposing and review
  • Management of promotional merchandise
  • General team admin and support

 

The Person:

The successful candidate will ideally have a strong interest in events and marketing with some work experience in a business environment but is not essential.

 

Required skills & Experience:

  • 5 GCSE’s including English & Maths
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • MS Office skills – in particular Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to plan and prioritise activities, using own initiative to organise workload.   
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to build professional working relationships with clients and staff. 
  • Confident and presentable communicator, able to maintain a professional and confidential approach always
  • Friendly and engaging
  • Willingness to learn
  • Can multi-task and not easily flustered.
  • Helpful and forward thinking
  • Handles Pressure well
