We are currently looking for a new addition to our HR team at Heathrow office in Egham - a Talent Acquisition Advisor. 

 

The mission of the Menzies Talent Acquisition team is to help the Firm grow and scale by helping to identify, attract, and select the very best talent in the market. The Talent Acquisition Assistant role is essential to support the business throughout the hiring process.

 

You will be an ambassador in the candidate experience, as the face of Menzies throughout their hiring process, ensuring that everyone has a fair and seamless experience with us. You will work directly with our HR Manager team, taking responsibility for sourcing and onboarding our new experienced hires.

 

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

 

Talent Acquisition:

 

  • Providing full 360 recruitment support to the Talent Acquisition function.
  • Management of experienced vacancies sourcing which includes collating candidates’ job applications, screening and psychometric test administration, scheduling phone and onsite interviews, video conferencing, handling post-offer administration, contracts and assisting with the on-boarding process for new starters.
  • Using all methods to attract candidates: advertising, head-hunting and using own network and intelligence.
  • Assessing the skills, qualifications and experience of potential candidates
  • Diary coordination with various hiring and HR Managers for interviews.
  • Keeping the ATS system up to date as candidates progress through the recruitment process.
  • Fostering long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.
  • Acting as point of contact for candidates on the progress of their application.
  • Reporting on weekly recruitment numbers to the Talent Acquisition Manager.

 

Employer Branding:

 

  • Managing external recruitment support platforms with posting and advertising positions (LinkedIn and other appropriate job boards)
  • Advertising new roles internally using internal communication channels.
  • Utilising social media platforms for attraction and advertising methods.

 

Administration

 

  • Creating and issuing employment paperwork including offer letters and contracts of employment.
  • Maintaining and updating the internal recruitment folders.
  • Managing the recruitment/careers inbox and answering any external queries.
  • General administration support to the wider HR team, when required.

 

 

 The Person:

 

  • Previous experience in an in-house recruitment department or with an agency is essential, ideally within a professional services or finance sector.
  • Experience of working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Previous experience with executing recruiting marketing and branding strategies.
  • Experience of working with a diverse team and striving for fairness in the hiring process.
  • Experience of the continual development of talent pipelines and sourcing potential candidates.
  • Experience of administering psychometric testing tools is desirable.
  • Education to degree level or equivalent is essential, ideally in Human Resources Management or Psychology.
  • CIPD and/or Recruitment and Employment Confederation qualifications are desirable.
  • Genuine interest in the recruitment industry and its development is important.
  • Excellent current knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Pro-active and a quick learner.
  • Flexible and accepting of change.
  • Some planned travel may be required to the other offices as well as for the career fairs.
